Reader question: Would you explain what you mean by "surrender," and give examples.
[referring to my Daily Inspiration message on Surrender]
My Answer:
1. In its negative form, "surrender" would be one army surrendering to another. That is not what I am advocating.
2. Surrender to God - that is, trusting that whatever God does will be good for you.
3. Surrender to life. For example, if you lose a leg, focusing on what you can do with your brain, rather than living your life out of anger that you can no longer run.
May the world be kind to you, and may your own thoughts be gentle upon yourself.
